Overview - Vision

Since 1976 when FELTY-HEINLEN ARCHITECTS & PLANNERS, INC. began providing professional Architectural planning and design services in Mansfield, Ohio, the four Principals, Melvin Felty,AIA, Bruce Heinlen,AIA, David Aulger, AIA, NCARB and David Cassell have directed the Firm in serving a broadening clientele including Religious Architecture, Educational, Commercial, Criminal Justice, Institutional, Industrial, Public Facilities, Camp-grounds, and Historic Preservation and Restoration.

Principal David Aulger, AIA and Associate Dan Seitz, have accepted leadership roles and together with our staff provide a wide variety of services and disciplines utilizing Computer Aided Design and Drafting. In addition, our staff is proficient in 3-D modeling and design. Through their efforts, our Firm has received Design Awards and commissions through winning Design Competitions.

FHA&P is licensed to practice Architecture in Ohio, Michigan, Indiana, Kentucky, West Virginia, Minnesota and Pennsylvania. We have also been privileged to provide design services in the State of New York and abroad in Japan.

We are committed to invest the necessary time to thoroughly understand your needs in order to design a facility that will meet those needs. We believe the users of a facility play an important roll in the design process and we actively seek their involvement. Their input along with our guidance will develop the long-term needs and goals that we will mold into a functional, flexible, serviceable, attractive, and budget-responsible reality.
